The General Consulate of Hungary in Istanbul and the Hungarian Cultural Centre in Istanbul held a reception, on the occasion of the 61tst anniversary of the 1956 revolution on Thursday night 19th October. Balázs HENDRICH General Consul of Hungary in his speach invoked the Kossuth square which is a symbolic place of the freedom of Hungary. Kossuth square nowdays is peaceful and popular touristic place but durring the revolution hundreds of people died there who against communism and the soviet occupation. Balázs Hendrich also highlighted the importance of the connection, cooperation and allice.
