On 13 February 2019, His Excellency Mr. Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary met with his Turkish partner, His Excellency Mr. Mevüt Çavosoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey during a working breakfast, and then had a meeting with Her Excellency Mrs. Ruhsar Pekcan, Minister of Trade of the Republic of Turkey. Minister Szijjártó highlighted that there was a high degree of trust between the leaders of the two countries, of which beneficiary is the economy.
The Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade delivered a speech at the Go Africa Business Forum, which was jointly organized for the second time by the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency (HEPA) and the Turkish Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK). On the margins of the Go Africa Business Forum Minister Szijjártó met with the CEO of Türk Eximbank, Mr. Adnan Yıldırım and the Chairman of the DEIK Turkey-Hungary Business Council, Mr. Adnan Polat.
