Due to the recent inappropriate approach of visa applicants to an official authority, the Consulate General's visa section telephone line has had to be suspended for a period of time as of 27 May 2024. No outside calls will be accepted regarding visa matters. Questions and requests can be sent via e-mail. Please note that there is no guarantee of a positive response to every request.
Answers to all visa-based questions are available on the website: https://isztambul.mfa.gov.hu/. Information is provided in 3 languages: Hungarian, Turkish and English. Please note that questions for which the answer is available on the website will not be returned. It is the sole responsibility of the applicant to obtain the necessary information.
