If the foreign employee's application for a residence permit is submitted by the priority employer through the Enter Hungary program, from now on the client's written consent is sufficient without consular signature authentication.

The written consent is a bilingual (written in a language understood by the client and in Hungarian/English), one-sided declaration by the client, which is accepted by the employer's representative, and on which consular signature authentication is not necessary. Please note that the written consent entitles the employer only to submit the application, not to represent the client in the residence permit procedure.

In case the employer still wishes to represent the foreign employee in the procedure for the issuance of a residence permit with full authority, it is necessary to follow the previous procedure and attach a power of attorney with the signature of the client and employer, as well as the consular signature authentication.
